What are the restrictions on interface fields and methods? An interface can declare fields, but they are implicitly declared public, static, and final even if you don't specify these modifiers. Therefore, you cannot explicitly define an interface field as private. in fact, an interface can only have constant fields, not instance fields. All interface methods are also implicitly declared public. They can also be (implicitly) abstract or default. #STJ
